Barkala is part of the Astronomical Capital Region
Australia’s largest Telescope at Siding Spring is there for a reason: the clarity of the night sky, the absence of light distorting jet stream (no twinkling stars) , the darkness of the sky.
Located at only a short distance from Siding Spring Observatory Barkala enjoys the same night sky conditions.
Add to this our unique Farm-Stay Accommodation and fabulous Cafe and you have the perfect environment for your Astronomical adventure with your own telescope.
