A visit to Coonabarabran, NSW is not complete without a trip to our extensive ceramics workshop and gallery.
The beauty of the Pilliga woodlands provides the inspiration for our Australian made pottery that ranges from large garden planters, kitchen ware, terracotta earthenware, water coolers, bird feeders and collector art pieces.
Each piece is created to the highest quality and is handmade from clays gathered from the Pilliga region.
The pottery is not just a place where pots are made it is a place where people meet to enjoy themselves and their environment.
You can watch the potters making beautiful Pottery at work seven days a week and children are welcome to get some hands on experience with the clay.
The beautiful woodlands of the Pilliga surrounding us inspire our ceramics, which ranges from garden pottery to beautifully designed kitchenware, vases, jugs, original water purifiers / coolers and decorative pottery of every shape and size.
Using local resources, we make our own cream colored clay and traditional terracotta clays, which we form into lovely shapes on the potter’s wheel and then decorate using our own unique and distinctive methods.
All the Ceramics in our shop are handmade on site.
You can also enjoy our cozy Blue Wren Cafe & Kitchen where we offer fresh coffee and tea, scones and lunches made with produce from our homegrown organic kitchen garden.
